The SSSO is a group of enthusiastic members dedicated to the growth and advancement of the Six Sigma science. It offers students opportunities to understand and reflect on challenges facing Six Sigma professionals, along with personal, student development through scheduled meetings, speakers, and field studies.

The SSSO is closely affiliated with the Department of Technology within the College of Applied Science and Technology.  The organization was created to coincide with the minor in process improvement(MIPI), which will allow students to potentially earn a six sigma black belt.  You do not have to be enrolled in this minor to be a member of the SSSO.

The group will meet at least once a month, and these meetings will be casual get-togethers where members can relax and enjoy the company.  The organization will also host events on campus as well as try and bring in top speakers to discuss the practices of Six Sigma in today’s society.
